Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Midway, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work to be done will consist of the construction of a new picnic pavilion with restrooms and a kitchenette. Proposals for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work proposal. All proposals shall he accompanied by a Proposal Security drawn in favor of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum proposal for the complete work; such Proposal Security representing that the offeror, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the Liberty County Board of Commissioners. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Proposal Security shall be forfeited to the Liberty County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Offeror fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. Question Deadline 05/29/2024 at 5:00 PM ET
