Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Midway, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be done consists of the removal and installation of concrete sidewalks, installation of concrete walkways over drainage flumes, installation of a handicap ramp, installing connecting sidewalks, clipping and grading of roadside grass strips, cleaning and grading of drainage ditches all within the Arlen Oaks Subdivision. Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All bids shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the City of Midway, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Midway. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Midway as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
