Renovation of a municipal facility in Jefferson, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company submitting a bid and shall be accompanied by either: 1) A bond in accordance with division (B) of ORC 153.54 for the full amount of bid; or 2) A certified check or cashier check. The amount of the certified check or cashier check shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, as a security that they will enter into a contract should the bid be accepted. All questions during bidding must be submitted in writing to CT Consultants, 4420 Cooper Road, Suite 200, Cincinnati, OH 45242, via email to bsabla@ctconsultants.com no later than 2:00 pm EST on May 17, 2024. Ashtabula County Board of Commissioners staff will not be available to answer questions nor meet with potential Bidders outside of the Pre-Bid Meeting. Responses will be addressed via email as an addendum no less than 3 days prior to bid deadline. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Ashtabula County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive all informalities or irregularities and to accept the lowest and best bid.
