General Engineering ( A License ) Construction, Micro-LBE Set-Aside, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda Counties SFPUC reserves the right to reject all bids. The Maximum Contract Amount is $2,000,000.00 Please contact Jason Chow at (415) 554-3103 or jason.chow@sfgov.org Bidders shall submit a Bid Security, in an amount equal to 10% of the Maximum Contract Amount, which shall be submitted with each Bid. The City will reject as non-responsive any Bid submitted without the necessary Bid Security. A Class "A" California Contractors License is required to bid. In addition to an A-License, the prime bidder must have successfully completed work on at least three general engineering prime contracts, preferably public works projects within the past ten years, each project with a minimum construction value of $250,000. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid.
