Renovation of a conference / convention center in Anaheim, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.

City of Anaheim is seeking a qualified vendor to provide and set up an electronic door lock system including required door hardware at the meeting rooms located on the second floor and meeting rooms and ballrooms located on the third floors of the Anaheim Convention Center per the specifications in this document. There are sixty-three (63) paired doors and fifty-two (52) single doors in total. In addition, there are fourteen (14) paired doors that do not require electronic door locks, which would require door hardware to match those with electronic door locks. The current existing doors will be utilized and must be modified as necessary. Bidders are requested to provide pricing for an alternative option that includes new doors. The awarded Contractors must provide everything necessary including, but not limited to labor for system set-up, materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment, and the like required to perform and complete the required work. 4. Additional compensation will not be allowed due to misunderstanding as to the amount of work involved or lack of knowledge of any requirement that could have been discovered or reasonably anticipated prior to submitting bid. 5. Vendor is responsible for verifying that all equipment functions properly as requested, operates, connects, is fully and properly compatible with the existing Sielox Pinnacle Access Control electronic door lock system. 6. Work to begin upon notice from City Project Manager (CPM). Successful company will need to coordinate the work schedule with the CPM, service may need to be planned around the Convention Center events, therefore the successful vendor must be flexible. 7. Acceptance of product proposal is subject to City of Anaheim's approval. The City may reject any or all items that fail to comply with the bid specifications. 8. Bidders are responsible for taking their own measurements. Any measurements provided herein are estimates only and should not be relied upon for accuracy.
