The City of Upland has a need for on-call services for the refresh of existing asphalt pavement striping on arterial and local streets throughout the city and is soliciting proposals from qualified striping contractors for "On-call Signing and Striping Installation" The successful proposer will be awarded a contract with a "not to exceed amount" estimated to be between $100,000 to $250,000 annually based upon the city's adopted budget using the established prices for labor, equipment, and materials as identified within Exhibit "A" for this contract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The contract's duration shall be for a period of two (2) years beginning July 1st following the award of the contract and may be renewed at a City's option for three (3) additional one-year extensions. The contract rates as determined by this RFP shall remain in effect for the first two (2) years of the contract, however a cost-of-living increase (CPI) will be negotiated with the contractor at the time of each additional one (1) year contract extension. All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked Proposal for "On- Call Concrete Pavement Repairs". The proposer's name and address shall appear in the upper left-hand corner. Requests for Information (RFI) shall be received no later than May 28, 2024, by 11:00 AM. The City reserves the right to consider the responsiveness and responsibility of all Contractors, and to use any information deemed necessary to establish the ability of any service company to perform all conditions of the Contract.
