The Ely Puckett Creek Wetlands AMD Maintenance X project consists of maintenance operations on eight (8) existing acid-mine drainage treatment sites (Penhook, Bean Creek, Everglades, Bog, Lenges / Nuckles, Big Branch, Davis, and Lick Branch). Maintenance operations will consist of the mowing/cutting of vegetation, cleaning and repair of water level control boxes, cleaning and repair of drainage pipes, access road repairs, miscellaneous drainage control work and revegetation. Project Location: The project is located off State Route 765, in the Ely Creek and Puckett Creek communities, near St. Charles in Lee County, Virginia. The specifications are written to permit and direct the work to be conducted by the Contractors forces.
