Renovation of a multi-residential development in Eagan, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Furnace and A/C Replacement project for Meadowlark Family Townhomes in Dakota County. This project will be subject to Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 16C.285 (the Responsible Contractors Act) and therefore require a verification of compliance form included with the bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Bids shall be directed to the capital projects administrator, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, with the project title and bid due date. Any bid not including a bid security will be considered disqualified. Only a bond issued by a surety, cashiers check or certified check will be accepted. The CDA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (D.M.E.) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and / or proposals and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, religion, or national origin. The Dakota County CDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the CDA. Meadowlark Family Townhomes is a 40-unit family townhome development located at 20904-20997 Holiday Avenue, Lakeville, MN 5044. The development is owned by Meadowlark Family Housing Limited Partnership and managed by the Dakota County Community Development Agency. Each of the units will be occupied at the time of servicing. This project involves the replacement of 39 gas furnaces and 40 AC units with evaporator coils. Existing pads must be removed if needed, replaced with new plastic or composite pad, and leveled. ALL PADS MUST BE LEVELED, even if not replaced. Project includes wiring, disposal of existing furnaces and ACs, as well as all labor and parts necessary for a complete installation of new equipment. Contractor is responsible for determining which size is appropriate for furnace and AC. Sizes shall be determined using appropriate load calculation. Contractor shall submit cut sheets, installation and maintenance manuals, and shop drawings for all equipment, ductwork and parts to be installed. Contractor shall provide heat loss calculations and all required permits. Contractor shall apply for and purchase permits, conform to all legal and code requirements as well as coordinate and be in attendance for the local AHJ inspection. Contractor shall provide statement of sales and/or use taxes paid for materials and equipment used in this project.
