This project requires 25% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on October 23, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Region Five/District Nine Office in Carbondale. Engineering Services are required for a Consultant Project Manager (PM) for various IDOT local agency sponsored and department led processes and/or projects throughout District Nine. This work may involve working directly with local agencies and/or their Consultant firms. The PM will be expected to perform work similar to the IDOT Local Roads staff. Key staff from the PM Consultant may be expected to perform work in the district offices, project job sites, and local public agency (LPA) offices in the district as required. This work may also require working in the district offices, project job sites, and LPA offices in the District up to five (5) days a week as necessary. The work may include engineering, technical, management, administrative services, and other work as necessary to assist bringing numerous projects to completion in accordance with established schedules. This work may involve all facets of Phase I, II and III engineering, LPA maintenance programs, and project closeout for Local Public Agency sponsored projects. The completion date for this contract will be 60 months after authorization to proceed. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the following categories to be considered for this project: Location Design Studies (Reconstruction/Major Rehabilitation) Highways (Roads and Streets) Statements of Interest, including resumes of the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering and Prequalification Agreement System (EPAS).
