Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hood River, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bidders must comply with ORS 279.027 regarding submission of First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form by the deadline indicated on the form. Disclosure forms are provided in the Bid Documents. The project area of work defined by this Contract is in Hood River, Oregon and is located in two areas, south of the intersection of 20th St. and Cascade Ave. along 20th St., and south of the intersection of Rand Rd. and Cascade Ave. along Rand Rd. The work to be done under this contract is detailed below. The work to be done south of the intersection of 20th St. and Cascade Ave. consists of replacing an existing pressure reducing valve (PRV) vault with a new packaged PRV station supplied by Cimco-GC Systems or City approved supplier, including a 6" PRV and 2" bypass. The location of the new PRV station will be near the existing PRV vault located in the center of 20th St. and will require approximately 45 feet of new 8" C900 PVC waterline and fittings to connect the PRV station to the existing 8" Ductile Iron waterline located in 20th Street. Included in this project will be the installation of a remote telemetry unit (RTU) pressure monitoring system within the PRV vault, DCVA, resurfacing 20th St. in the work areas, replacement of the adjacent sidewalk, curb and gutter in the work areas, and installation of additional piping for the PRV station. The project also includes the addition of new sidewalk and fence on the east side of 20th Street just south of PRV location. The work to be done south of the intersection of Rand Rd. and Cascade Ave. consists of replacing an existing pressure reducing valve (PRV) vault with a new packaged PRV station supplied by Cimco-GC Systems or City approved supplier, including a 6" PRV and 2" bypass. The location of the new PRV station will be near the existing PRV vault located in the center of Rand Rd. and will require approximately 50 feet of new 8" C900 PVC waterline and fittings to connect the PRV station to the existing 8" Cast Iron waterline in Rand Rd. Included in this project will be the installation of a remote telemetry unit (RTU) pressure monitoring system within the PRV station, resurfacing Rand Rd. and installing additional associated piping for the PRV station. All work is located in Hood River, OR. The project area of work is in the vicinity of the intersection of Cascade Ave and Rand Rd, and the intersection of Cascade Ave and 20th St. The work is more particularly described in the project plans. Prequalification is not required; however, applicant must submit with its Bid evidence of qualifications and experience to perform the work. Bids shall be submitted on the bid forms supplied in the bidding documents and shall be accompanied by a bond, postal money order, certified or cashier's check from the bidder in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid as security. The successful bidder will be required to execute a formal agreement with the Owner and provide acceptable insurance and both a performance bond and a material and labor payment bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract award in accordance with the Specifications within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. The deadline for questions is Thursday May 23rd at 5:00 p.m. Contractor must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to the bid opening and must file a public works bond in the amount of $30,000 with the CCB prior to commencing work on the project. Contractor must pay Prevailing Wages in accordance with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. The Owner may reject any Bid not in compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner that it is in the public interest to do so.
