Much of the existing roof equipment exhibits signs of deterioration and needs to be repaired or replaced. The following equipment will be replaced; foam separator, revise boiler exhaust piping, handrailing, hatches, sampling well hatches, gas piping and access door hardware, downspout modifications, new water supply line, plant's overflow box will be repaired, and a new roof stairway will be constructed. The Site of the Work is the Hood River Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 818 Riverside Drive, Hood River, OR 97031 (Site). The Site is an active working wastewater treatment plant and full-time operation of the Site by the Owner's staff is a requirement of this work. Temporary arrangements have been specified so that the Contractor may conduct most of their work uninterrupted. However, access for schedule, routine, and emergency operations and maintenance is required at all times. Estimated construction cost for the work is $500,000. Prequalification is not required; however, applicant must submit with its Bid, evidence of qualifications and experience to perform the work as discussed elsewhere in this notice. The work shall be substantially complete on or before June 15, 2022, and ready for final payment in accordance with the General Conditions on or before August 1, 2022.
