Tierra Bonita Elementary School Roofing Project The Project consists of:
Install new roofsystems on top ofthe existing standing metal seams roofs for approximately (10) portable buildings at Tierra Bonita Elementary School.
Scope ofWork:
o Remove and properly dispose of all the existing rain gutters and downspouts from the
portable buildings. (Rooms 302, 303, 321, 322, 324, 325, 326, 327, 329,330, Boys and
Girls restrooms)
o Install 24-gauge rain gutters and downspouts
o Install 24-gauge edge metal
o Install %" plywood with #12 screws
o Install new GAF glass underlayment
o Install Two-Ply Roof System:
- APP Smooth
- GTA White Mineral Roof
- Install APOC #248 white performance elastomeric coating. Title 24
o Replace any damaged or missing rain gutters and downspouts (In buildings that are not
having the roofreplaced)
o Clean out all rain gutters in rooms 301 through 330 General Notes:
o The Contractor to verify the existing conditions of all the roofs.
o The Contractor is responsible for keeping the building watertight during the installation.
o The Contractor is to protect the grounds, concrete paving, and adjacent buildings from
damage due to Contractor's work.
Bid Submission Note- Any bid received via Federal
Express, United Parcel Service (UPS), or United States Postal Service delivery after 1:59:59 p.m. PDT, shall be non-responsive and returned to the bidder. Failure to timely deliver a bid that is attributable to the carrier shall not constitute an excuse for untimely delivery. Bids transmitted via Federal Express, United Parcel Service (UPS), or United States Postal Service delivery must be placed in a separately sealed envelope inside ofthe Federal Express, United Parcel Service (UPS),or United States Postal Service package. Failure to include all required documents may render the
