The City of Arcata is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct an assessment for the development, implementation, and operation of a community center facility in the Valley West area of Arcata. The assessment shall include outreach and engagement with the community and stakeholder groups to identify priority needs of the neighborhood. The assessment will address programmatic needs, potential sites to accommodate those needs, and a cost analysis. Proposals received will be evaluated by a selection committee whose assessment will inform the recommendation for contract award. This contract will be funded by a CDBG grant awarded by the California Department of Housing and Community Development.
