Renovation of a municipal facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 21,811-square-foot municipal facility.
5th Floor Security and Various Improvements SEALED BIDS (Chapter 103D, HRS) For: STATE CAPITAL BUILDING 5TH FLOOR SECURITY & VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS The work generally consists of security improvements, leak detection, repair at exterior doors, removing existing carpet and installing new carpet tiles and other incidental work as necessary. The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $2.5 million. The building is highly secure and bidders shall comply with all access requirements of the facility or the User Agency. Each Bidder shall bring their own flashlight and small tools that may be required to inspect the premises. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply. Campaign Contributions by State and County Contractors Prohibited. If awarded a contract in response to this solicitation, offeror agrees to comply with HRS section 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from a State and County government contractor during the term of the contract if the contractor is paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body, at any time between the execution of the contract through the completion of the contract. To be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawai'i Contractor's license classification (s) B. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
