This SOW defines the requirement for the contractor to Engineer, Furnish, Install and Test (EFI&T) new Single Mode (SM) Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) from ITB5616 to EB5206 at JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio TX. Communications outside plant fiber and infrastructure upgrade to JBSA-Lackland is a critical initiative to support base mission systems. The current network between Information Transfer Buildings (ITB) and B5206 is an antique copper system that does not meet VOIP upgrade capabilities and is also insufficient to support expanding conversion of Base Alarm Systems, and Base Civil Engineering (BCE) Environmental Management Control Systems (EMCS). Available infrastructure capabilities are paramount for the 502 ABW and 502 CS being able to provide the "Premier Installation Support" that is expected by our Mission Partners.
