Place of Performance. The place of performance is JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio, TX. The Government is only conducting market research and attaining information to identify contractors that are capable of providing all items/services In Accordance With (IAW) the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). NAICS code: 237130 Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Please complete the RFI document and submit POC's listed no later 10 May 2024 1500 CDT. The period of performance shall not exceed 60 days (2 months) from start of installation. This SOW defines the requirement for the contractor to Engineer, Furnish, Install and Test (EFI&T) new Single Mode (SM) Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) from ITB5616 to EB5206 at JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio TX. Communications outside plant fiber and infrastructure upgrade to JBSA-Lackland is a critical initiative to support base mission systems. The current network between Information Transfer Buildings (ITB) and B5206 is an antique copper system that does not meet VOIP upgrade capabilities and is also insufficient to support expanding conversion of Base Alarm Systems, and Base Civil Engineering (BCE) Environmental Management Control Systems (EMCS). Available infrastructure capabilities are paramount for the 502 ABW and 502 CS being able to provide the "Premier Installation Support" that is expected by our Mission Partners. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
