Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Laredo, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,250-square-foot service station / car wash facility; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Summary Project Description: Multimodal Transit Facility. New Facilities for El Metro to support maintenance functions, bus wash and fueling facility, all generally located on a land parcel immediately southeast of the intersection of Bartlett Avenue and Jacaman Road. The Bus Wash is approximatelly 4,250 SF and the Fueling Facility (3 tier canopy) 3,888 SF bidder's bond having a minimum Best's Rating A according to Best's Key Rating Guide Latest Edition from a surety duly authorized and licensed in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Laredo, Texas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid based on the bid which check or bond shall be submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract, and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of contract is given to him for contracts in excess of $50,000.00. Bids without the required check or bond will NOT be considered. Bidders for the construction work must submit a satisfactory cashier's or certified check, Bid proposals over $50,000.00 shall comply with all conditions of the bid documents.
