Rebuild backflow preventer - USCG Station Gulfport, MS This is a combined synopsis / solicitation to rebuild the backflow preventer located near the pier at US Coast Guard Station Gulfport, MS. A Firm Fixed Price Construction order will be issued to the contractor with the lowest priced quote.
A. Contractor will rebuild backflow preventer located near the pier at Station
Gulfport with a Watts 2 1 2" 909 Rebuild Kit or comparable.
B. Replace two 2 Vi inch gate valves.
C. Contractor will dispose of all materials related to repair offsite.
D. Contractor will ensure system is in fully operational status upon completion of
repairs by conducting a domestic backflow test.
E. Contractor shall submit required documents to the Department of Public Works
located at 4050 Hewes Ave, Gulfport, MS 39507. Phone: 228-861-3601.
Place of performance is USCG Station Gulfport 991 23rd Avenue Gulfport, MS 39501
Period of performance is June 17th through 21st, 2024. Period of performance is negotiable. Federal Acquisition Regulations and Department of Labor wage determination MS20240050 are attached and are applicable. Payment and performance bonds are not required. Commence work under this contract within 5 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed.
(b) Prosecute the work diligently, and
(c) Complete the entire work ready for use not later than 30 calendar days after the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed (if industry standards allow)
