Cathodic Protection Improvements. Swa Contract Cp-2024-1, Cathodic Protection Improvements For Swpp Contracts 2-2ab, Sacred Heart, 2-3ef2a, And 2-3ef3 Anode Beds. Installation Of Three (3) Deep Well Anode Beds Consisting Of 10-5/8 Inch Diameter Holes, 200, 250, And 175 Feet Deep At Three (3) Different Locations With 9, 12, And 8 Mixed Metal Oxide Anodes Each; One (1) Shallow Anode Bed Consisting Of 10 Mixed Metal Oxide Anodes; Furnishing And Installing Two (2) Rectifiers At Two Of The Anode Bed Locations; Furnishing And Installing Two New Cathodic Protection Test Stations At The New Rectifier Locations; Installation Of Electrical Service From A New Electric Meter (By Utility) For One Of The New Rectifier Locations; And Extension Of Electrical Service From An New Utility Provided Electric Meter To The New Rectifier Location At The Other New Rectifier Location. Other Work At The Anode Bed Locations Will Include Installation Of Anode Wires And Conduit From The Anode Bed Locations To The Rectifiers, Installation Of New Anode Junction Boxes With Slide Wire Resistors And Shunts, Vent Pipes, Electrical Wires, Connection Of Rectifier Negative Lead Wires To The Existing Metallic Pipelines At The New Rectifier Locations Including Cad Thermite-welding And Repair Of Polyethylene Sheet Encasement, Installation Of Reference Electrodes, And Other Related Appurtenant Items As Required By The Project Drawings, Specifications And Contract Documents. The Locations Of The Three Deep Well Anodes Beds Are: 5 Miles South Of Dickinson, Nd, Along Nd Hwy 22; 2 Miles East Of Golden Valley, Nd, Along Us Hwy 200; And 3 Miles West Of Richardton, Nd, Along 36 St Sw (Old Us 10). The Shallow Anode Bed Location Is 6 1/2 Miles North Of New England, Nd, Along Nd Hwy 22. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied By A Separate Envelope Containing A Copy Of A Current And Valid North Dakota Contractor's License Issued At Least Ten (10) Days Prior To Bid Opening, And A Bidder's Bond In A Sum Equal To Five Percent (5%) Of The Full Amount Of The Bid, Executed By The Bidder As Principal And By A Surety, Conditioned That If The Principal's Bid Is Accepted And The Contract Awarded To Principal, The Principal, Within Ten (10) Days After Notice Of Award, Shall Execute A Contract In Accordance With The Terms Of The Bid And A Contractor's Bond As Required By Law And Regulations And Determinations Of The Southwest Water Authority.
