A. The project is located at Eagle Elementary School at the following address: 555 Sycamore Street, Brownsburg, IN. 46112. B. Work in the boiler room, mechanical yard, and electrical room includes, but is not limited to 1. Demolition a. Remove boilers, venting, boiler pumps, building hydronic hot water pumps, expansion tank (salvage for relocation), air separator, all associated hot water loop piping within boiler room back to locations shown, including chemical treatment and boiler plant controls complete. Salvage Honeywell central plant controller for reuse. b. Remove heat exchanger pumps, plate and frame heat exchanger, fluid cooler, expansion tank, air separator, all related piping within boiler room and plant controls complete. Salvage Honeywell central plant controller for reuse. c. Remove water cooled chiller, chilled water primary and secondary pumps, cooling tower, condenser water pumps, all related piping back to locations shown within chiller room, boiler room and mechanical yard, including indoor sump tank, expansion tank, air separator, chemical treatment and chilled water plant controls complete. Salvage Honeywell central plant controller for reuse. d. Remove water softeners and associated piping back to locations shown. All work for the complete construction of the project shall be performed under the form of contract set forth in the Bidding Documents. Two copies of bid forms shall be submitted on forms provided in the project manual and shall be executed in accordance with the current edition of the Indiana Board of Accounts Form 96 - Contractors Bid for Public Works, with a financial statement complying with Section III of Form 96, and a satisfactory Bid Bond or certified check pursuant to I.C. 36-1-12-4.5, payable to the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. Bid Security shall be in the amount of not less than 5% of the total base bid price. Should a successful Bidder withdraw their Bid, fail to provide the required payment and performance bonds, or execute the contract, the Owner may then declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquidated damages. 2024 Eagle ES Central Plant Equipment Installation All work for the complete construction of the project shall be performed under the form of contract set forth in the Bidding Documents.
