The VAN BUREN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT is soliciting competitive bids for the deployment of a cellular enhancement system to boost cell reception at the Van Buren Tech, 250 South Street, Lawrence, MI 49064. The bid is to be a turn-key solution which includes: installation of Bi-Directional amplifiers, exterior roof mounted donor antennas, and a distributed antenna systems (DAS) comprised of a network of interior omni-directional broadcast antennas, cabling where necessary, and configuration. The district is in need of increasing cell reception within the Van Buren Tech. The proposed system should increase viable indoor cell service for multiple cellular carriers operating within the 700 - 2100MHz spectrum. The successful implementation of the solution will be measured by the effective conversion of the current very poor to nonexistent indoor cell coverage scenario into one in which cellular voice calling and text messaging are functional and consistent within the limitations of the services provided by the cellular networks. Signal amplification must be verified using an approved RF analyzer or cellular device that is not in "HD Voice" or "VoLTE" mode. Installation and Configuration Please provide a cost to install, configure, document and test the enhanced cellular reception within the building. The bid should also include one (1) day of knowledge transfer on how to operate, troubleshoot, and program the system for up to 10 employees of the Van Buren ISD. For all options vendor is responsible for: 1. Installing all outdoor antennas and aiming them 2. Installing all indoor equipment 3. Installing and terminating all cabling 4.
