Sealed bids shall contain the Proposal Section (P-1 through P-6 and including attachments as necessary), all applicable signed Addendums, and attached Bid Bond (as described below). All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the City's purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org. The bid number shall be referenced in the email subject line. The questions deadline is Tuesday, May 21, 2024 - 5:00 PM Central Time Zone. All questions will receive an official written response from the City and will become addenda to this Bid. Prospective bidders must be listed in the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom as a "Plan Holder" to validate bidder receipt of all applicable documents pertinent to the project. The work to be done under this contract includes: (Base Bid) Traffic calming installations in the Old West Lawrence neighborhood consisting of four (4) Traffic Circles. Contract may also include: Add Alternate 1 to include one (1) Traffic Circle at 8th & Illinois Add Alternate 2 to include one (1) Traffic Circle at 8th & Mississippi Add Alternate 3 to include one (1) Traffic Circle at 8th & Indiana A Pre-bid meeting will not be held for this Project.
