Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following work: Removal and rehabilitation of one (1) existing well pump, SWTP Pump No. 1. Removal and rehabilitation of one (1) existing electric pump motor, SWTP Pump No. 1. Supply and install new surface water pump, motor, and coinciding piping and appurtenances. Unload and store rehabilitated surface water pump, motor, and coinciding piping and appurtenances as spares at Owner selected location. Video inspection of one (1) well, as needed. Remove existing level transducer and replace with new level transducer. Rehabilitation of well by brushing and bailing of debris, as needed. Furnish new equipment instead of rehabilitating, as necessary. The Contractor shall have the following minimum qualifications: The successful pulling and setting of not less than three (3) new or rehabilitated municipal slant or angle wells in the last ten (10) years. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety 2000 using project. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Substantial Completion by September 16, 2024. Final Completion by September 30, 2024.
