The Project consists of runway crack seal, runway markings, and runway edge light fixture replacement. Bids will be received for 2 schedules of work. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Contract Documents. All Bidders shall make good faith efforts, as defined by Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract a minimum of 9.66% of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals DBE. Bidders must be licensed to perform work within the state of Arkansas. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 16.4% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% Bids must remain in effect for 90 days after the bid opening date. Within 90 days from the bid date, the Owner may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder or reject any or all Bids for the Project.
