On-Call services for the Waimanalo Irrigation System and Kahuku Agricultural Park. Work may include, but not limited to installation of irrigation water service laterals, meters, and meter boxes; removal of trees from reservoir embankments, access roads, and various DOA parcels; Removal of sediment and debris from ditches, flumes, culverts, etc.; repair/replacement of gate valves, leaking pipelines, chain link fences, pumps; and hauling/disposal of illegally dumped material. If the required security or bond amount totals over $100,000, more than one instrument not exceeding $100,000 each and issued by different financial institutions shall be accepted. Successful bidder(s) shall be required to provide a Labor and Material Payment Bond. It is also understood and agreed that if this bid is accepted, the successful bidder must enter into and execute a contract with the Board of Agriculture and furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, as required by law. These bonds shall conform to provisions of Section 103D324 and 325, Hawaii Revised Statutes and any law applicable hereto. It is understood and agreed that the Board of Agriculture reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and waive any defects when, in the Board's opinion, such rejection or waiver will be for the best interest of the State of Hawaii.
