Renovation of an educational facility in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This Project is for the Battery Storage Relocation located at Niagara Colleges Daniel J. Patterson campus located at 135 Taylor Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. The College currently owns and will supply the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) unit and the corresponding step-up transformer. The Contractor shall move the BESS unit and step-up transformer to the construction site and to install all feeders and conduits/wiring for operation. The College has identified two (2) different ways (options) for the Contractor to connect the BESS unit to the existing electrical power grid; defined below as Option A and Option B respectively. The College will select one (1) of either Option 1 or Option 2, not both. The selection of either Option 1 or 2 will be at the sole discretion of the College. The Work is to be completed by September 30, 2024.
