Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,048-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for asbestos abatement for a educational facility; for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and transportation facility.
CONTRACT NO. 1 - GENERAL CONSTRUCTION Work under this Contract may generally be described to include, but not be limited to the following: Temporary facilities & controls; cutting & patching; removal & disposal of materials as scheduled or required for the execution of the work. Procurement and general requirements, items furnished by others for installation; site restoration; temporary project sign; cutting & patching; minor demolition; asbestos abatement; lead hazard control activities; concrete (reinforcing, cast in place & cast underlayment); masonry (maintenance & unit masonry); metals (steel decking, cold formed metal framing, metal fabrications, & pipe and tube railings); Wood, Plastics & Composites (rough & finish carpentry; solid surface fabrications); thermal & moisture protection (existing EPDM roofing system modifications; thermal insulation, polyisocyanurate roof board insulation; fluid applied membrane air barriers, vapor impermeable; black elastic EPDM membrane roofing; fire and smoke identification; firestopping; joint sealers); openings (hollow metal frames, flush wood doors, access panels, door hardware & glazing); finishes (plaster and plaster repair, gypsum board assemblies, tiling, crack isolation membranes, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, sheet carpeting, auditorium acoustic ceiling panels, auditorium acoustical wall panels, painting & coating; wood strip and plank flooring); specialties (signage, dimensional letter signage, cubicles, phenolic toilet compartments; toilet room accessories); stage hoists, stage draperies and tracks & equipment; furnishings (horizontal louver blinds, roller shades, manufactured plastic-laminate-clad casework, fixed auditorium seating by owner), wheelchair lift; excavation; trenching; fill; aggregate base courses; asphalt paving, all CC, HM, S, A, AD, TL (TL-104, hoist only, lighting by Electrical Contractor) and L series drawings; and all other work and related materials as indicated on the Contract Drawings, as specified herein, and as required for the complete and proper execution of the Work. Auditorium seating is furnished and installed via state contract, General Contractor to remove and dispose of existing auditorium seating and properly prepare floor slab. 51-04-01-04-5-001-007 No interpretations of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. All requests for such interpretations shall submitted in writing to BCA Architects & Engineers (on the attached RFI Form). To be given consideration a request for interpretation the RFI form must be received at least six (6) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be issued in the form of written addenda. If issued, the addenda will be sent by UPS or via facsimile, to respective addresses furnished for such purposes, not later than two (2) days prior to the day fixed for opening Bids. Failure of any Bidder to receive any such addenda shall not relieve said Bidder from any obligation under his Bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. B. Prospective Bidders are cautioned concerning the use of a Post Office Box address as facsimile addenda cannot be sent to Post Office Boxes *The project was awarded to ConTech Building Systems Inc.*
