Major items of work: Prepare interior and exterior metal surfaces and apply new coatings. Grout, seal, and paint concrete foundation pads. Various metal work needed to meet KDHE and OSHA standards to include but not limited to: Extend overflow system; raise balcony handrail; remove interior spider rods and seal weld roof; remove interior ladder; enlarge access hatch; raise hatch framing; install second access hatch; and install anti-climb plates on support legs. Project Funding - This project is funded by the Kansas Public Water Supply Revolving Loan Fund through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). Davis Bacon Wage Determination - Conditions of employment to be observed and minimum rates to be paid under the contract (Davis Bacon Act), Section 3 of 1968 Housing & Urban Development Act. Bidders attention is directed to the Davis-Bacon Labor Standards Contractor's Guide to Prevailing Wage Requirements for Federally-Assisted Construction Projects located at website Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 05/21/2024 Questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be directed to Engineer . Questions received less than 7-days prior to the bid opening date may not be answered.
