Site work and paving for a civil project in Hanwell, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

Please forward a price for the construction of an access road into the Municipal Park. The centerline of the road will be marked by Municipal staff. The road surface is to be 10 feet wide and the shoulders on each side are to be 2 feet wide. Ditching is required on both sides of the roadway. See attached roadway cross section. The road will begin at Nature Park Drive and extend into the Park. The playground is to be fenced to prevent people from entering the construction area. The area to be cleared will be flagged by Municipal staff. This area will be cleared of trees and brush by the contractor. All trees and brush are to be removed or chipped to the satisfaction of Municipal staff. After clearing, all organic material in the flagged area is to be stripped and removed from site. Both sides of the new access road are to be ditched to a depth of 300 mm. The slope of the sides of the ditch is to be 1:1. A base gravel layer of 80 mm minus (0" - 3") crushed gravel is to be placed and compacted over the road and shoulder surface. The base gravel layer is to be 200 mm thick. The road surface is to be crowned at 4% (1/2" per foot). A finish gravel layer of 20 mm minus (0" - 3/4")crushed rock is to be placed over the road area and compacted. The finish gravel is to be 150 mm thick. The finish gravel is to be crowned at 4% (1/2" per foot). The new gravel road is to be graded to match the surface of Nature Park Drive where it meets Nature Park Drive. A new culvert with a minimum diameter of 450 mm is to be installed to allow access from Nature Park Drive. The width of the access is to be 20 feet wide.
