Design of Upgrades to Shiloh Pump Station Project Summary and Scope of Work The County Commissioners of Carroll County (Owner) are requesting proposals for the engineering design, bidding, and construction phase services for upgrades to the Shiloh Pumping Station based upon the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and recommendations for improvements included within this Request for Proposal packet. The Shiloh Pumping Station is located at 3690 Shiloh Road, Hampstead, MD 21074 and was initially completed in 1985 under Contract S-27A-74. The facility was later rehabilitated in 2009 under Contract S-349 to upgrade the pumping, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Interested Firms will be given latitude to think "outside of the box" to the most practical and efficient engineering solutions to the deficiencies and recommendations summarized within the PER provided that the basic parameters and necessary functionality improvements to the facility will be achieved and that the cost of the overall improvements to the pumping station remain within the dollar range provided within the PER Request for Information All questions regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents must be submitted electronically via Public Purchase by no later than 4:00 PM EST on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
