The Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the (County), working in conjunction with the Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO), is seeking proposals for the ITN from qualified firms, herein referred to as "Contractors" licensed to conduct business in the State of Florida, to design and install Tower Sites for support of the WCSO's planned Project 25 (P25) radio communications system for mission-critical public safety communications, and to help integrate current and future broadband technologies into its public safety communications system within the County. The County is coordinating the procurement process on behalf of the WCSO. The Contractor's proposed solution shall include the tower site design and construction, engineering, equipment and installation, implementation services, operator and technical training, and warranty services for any item provided to meet the requirements of this ITN. The Contractor shall complete and pass all site acceptance tests of system components, including grounding, bonding, and surge suppression and standby generator load testing per the requirements of this ITN. Last Date to Submit Questions is May 30th, 2024 No Later Than 12:00 P.m. Noon. All Questions Are to Be Directed in Writing to Waljames@co.walton.fl.us. Directing Questions to Any Other Staff, Project Engineer and Any Other Person is Prohibited and Will Result in Response Being Disqualified. Contractors Are Responsible for the Delivery of the Qualifications Package. Submittals Received After the Specified Day and Time Will Not Be Opened. To be considered, Contractors may submit a complete submittal package digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER PACKAGE, in a sealed envelope with "ITN 24-26 WALTON COUNTY TOWER SITES" clearly marked on front of envelope, addressed to Office of Central Purchasing, Attention: Bids and Proposals at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435. Alternatively, Walton County's preferred method of submission is an electronic bid submitted through its e-procurement portal, OpenGov, accessible via the county's Purchasing webpage.
