Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lake Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work includes Tracy Road and the required necessary roadway improvements. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the Wood county Port Authority or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter or credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the Wood County Port Authority. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond properly executed can be submitted in lieu of a bid bond or check. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions; and the requirements for a performance bond or a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price. This project is classified as a Local Public Agency (LPA) project with the Wood County Port Authority administering the project. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Council of the Wood County Port Authority, reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
