Renovation of a municipal facility in Eugene, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Renovate existing, original public restrooms on the 2nd floor to create gender neutral, single occupancy restrooms, at least some of which meet ADA requirements. Upgrade remaining portions of the original Courthouse 2nd floor ceiling in the public corridor and west/north Circuit Court staff areas including removal and abatement of existing ceiling, and installation of new lighting. This project is included in the city’s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 14, 2024, per owner, because of construction costs doubling over the last three years, it has hindered their ability to move forward with many projects. Design has not begun and a start date is unknown at this time. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
