Site work for a civil project in Binghamton, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Introduction The City of Binghamton is seeking a consulting engineer to provide a Preliminary Engineering Report for the Tompkins Street Pump Station. The Tompkins Street Pump Station is currently located at 282 Court Street. It discharges storm water from the Brandywine Ave corridor North to Bevier St. The existing pump station location and configuration cannot drain the existing 66-inch pipe carrying the storm water. Consultant Services The Preliminary Engineering Report will include some field work, analysis of existing pump station and piping. These findings will be used to obtain public funding. Contents of the Qualification Statement The following shall be the minimum information submitted in the qualification statement, and will be scored on these criteria: o Experience of the firm with providing engineering design reports to submit for public funding. o Experience of the proposed staff with providing engineering design reports to submit for public funding. o The firm's approach to the project, demonstrating the understanding and ability to provide the required services according to the scope of the project. o Capacity and resources of the firm to undertake and complete the project within the proposed schedule. o Performance on past relevant projects (please provide reference and other sources).
