The project also facilitates hauling sand from a near-by pit to the Terminal 4 Pond. Work includes but is not limited to the transportation of solids and sand material, disposal and associated disposal fees of excavated solids materials utilizing solo trucks and super solos to the Cowlitz County Landfill or an approved equal disposal facility. Port crews will be responsible for the excavation and loading of the solids and sand into the trucks. The estimated cost of the project is $523,250 - $578,400. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work in this project is within of the security area of the Port of Vancouver requiring Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC). The Port of Vancouver in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
