The City of Vancouver is seeking proposals from qualified firms/individuals for consulting services to conduct an assessment of the Citys current model and relationship with Clark Regional Emergency Management Service Agency (CRESA) for regional 9-1-1 dispatch services, regional 800 MHz and conventional radio systems and services and emergency management services. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities. (Section 4 of Chapter 56, Laws of 1975, 1st Ex. Sess., State of Washington). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
