Site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
The City of Ames is accepting bids from qualified contractors to provide the necessary labor, equipment, insurance, materials, documentation, transportation, and other components necessary to remove and properly dispose of asbestos at the property owned by the City of Ames, location of 1514 Duff Avenue, as described in the Scope of Work. It is the City's preference to have work completed by June 3, 2024 but no later than June 15, 2024. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
