Renovation of an educational facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work of this single bid project includes the removal and replacement of four buildings EPDM roof systems, hatches, skylights, exhaust fans, roof drains, roof access ladders and extension of vent pipes. Removal of hazardous material, and load test bank. Increasing insulation thickness to meet NY Stretch Code and SUCF 1B-2 Directives which includes the raising of any equipment, dunnage, fans or pipe extensions to allow for the increased thickness. Work to also include lightning protection installation, roof drain rehabilitation and replacement, removal and installation of new chiller, removal of skylights, structural steel modifications, roof access improvements, infill of deck, and removal of paver, stone ballast, and chimney. Removal and replacement of HVAC, electrical rerouting, new ladders, stairs, railing and platforms, installation of new door and cleaning of brick. Provide temporary freezer and generator. Location: Work will be performed at SUNY Alfred State. Bids will be opened at SUCF offices in Albany, NY. Contract term: 670 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3%
