Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cochranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work is generally described as follows: Site preparation and selective demolition of playground equipment and concrete pads, new concrete curbs and sidewalks, playground subbase, lawn restoration. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Borough of Cochranton, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to publicly funded contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity, the Pennsylvania Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment clause, and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
