No definite date for the rebid.** PURPOSE AND INTRODUCTION The City of Marshfield ("City") is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the repainting of crosswalks, parking spaces, stop bars, centerline, and turn arrows on various streets in the City of Marshfield, MO ("Project"). Specific locations are included in Scope of Services. Scope This project will consist of the installation of yellow paint for pavement markings for centerlines, white paint for crosswalk markings, stop bars, turn arrows and parking stall lines, and blue paint for ADA parking stall lines and universal symbols. The total project will consist of the following locations. Intersections: o Banning and Church Street (135' of double yellow and 45' white, 2 stop bars, 2 turn arrow) o N. Pine and Hubble Dr. (400' of double yellow and 210' white, 2 stop bars, 2 turn arrows) o N. Elm and Hubble Dr. (120' of double yellow and 45' white, 3 stop bars, 2 turn arrows) o Jefferson and Hubble Dr. (120' of double yellow and 40' white, 2 stop bars, 2 turn arrows Crosswalks: o Elm Street and Madison o Elm Street and State Highway "DD" o Elm Street and St. Charles Street o Elm Street and Burford Street o Elm at R.H. Barr Football Stadium o Locust and Blinn Street (2 total) o Around Square (5 total) Downtown Square Markings: o South Marshall Street - 15' yellow painted curb, 220' double yellow center line, 9 parking spaces and 1 loading zone. o East Washington Street - 40' yellow painted curb, 240' double yellow center line, 14 parking spaces, 1 handicap parking space and symbol (Painted Blue). o South Crittenden - 40' yellow painted curb, 240' double yellow center line, 16 parking spaces. o North Crittenden - 25' yellow painted curb, 160' double yellow center line, 6 parking spaces. o East Madison Street - 30' yellow painted curb, 250' double yellow center line, 10 parking spaces and 1 loading zone. o East Jefferson Street - 230' double yellow center line, 15 parking spaces. o North Marshall Street - 160' double yellow center line, 5 parking spaces, 1 handicap parking space and symbol (Painted Blue). o North Clay Street - 100' yellow painted curb, 150' double yellow center line, 11 parking spaces, 1 handicap parking space and symbol (Painted Blue). o West Jefferson Street - 15' yellow painted curb, 220' double yellow center line, 10 parking spaces. o West Washington Street - 40' yellow painted curb, 230' double yellow center line, 28 parking spaces,1 handicap parking space and symbol (Painted Blue). o West Madison Street - 35' yellow painted curb, 215' double yellow center line, 17 parking spaces and 1 loading zone. o South Clay Street - 20' yellow painted curb, 210 double yellow center line, 16 parking spaces. o Inside Square - 55 angled parking spaces. o Outside Square - 56 angled parking spaces. o Around Square - 4 Route 66 symbols. Maintenance Bond: The Contractor shall procure and maintain a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the final Contract Sum after any and all Change Orders and/or formal contract amendments. The Maintenance Bond shall be in full force for a one (1) year guarantee period from the date of final acceptance. Final payment will not be made until the City receives the Maintenance Bond. The Bond shall serve to ensure required maintenance of the Project will be provided throughout the maintenance period. 12. Bond Premiums: The premiums on all the bonds shall be paid by the Contractor 13. Notice to Proceed: Upon submittal and acceptance of all items as outlined in the Notice of Award, the successful bidder will receive Notice to Proceed a. The City will issue the contractor a tax exemption letter and a project exemption certificate. These documents are to be given to the Contractor's suppliers and used only for the specific project identified and will expire on the date indicated unless renewed by the City. b. The Contractor shall not commence work prior to the date of written notice from the City and shall complete all work before July 1, 2023. Notice to Proceed is expected to be May 26, 2023.
