The Town of Inuvik (hereinafter referred to as "the Town") is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to perform brushing and site clearing for the Midnight Sun Complex (MSC) Solar Project in Inuvik, NT. This notice to bidders outlines the scope of work, submission guidelines, and evaluation criteria for the required earthworks. Project Background The solar plant project is located east of the MSC at [68.357853, -133.709507], covering an area of 2.72 hectares. Brushing/site clearing of local trees and shrubs is required to prepare the site for the next steps, including surveying and finalizing civil/earthwork requirements. The Site consists of medium sparse vegetation, 20% Spruce, 40% Alder, and 40% Poplar and has a roughly 2 - 3% grade North-South throughout, very slight East-west slope flowing East The work generally comprises: Site clearing, including the removal of vegetation and debris up to the marked boundary. Notwithstanding any custom or usage in the construction industry, the lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
