Question Deadline 05/28/2024 Bidders must submit questions about the Contract Documents to the Engineer in writing or by email only, at least seven (7) working days before the sealed Bid is due Project Number 7102663, S2022-0094A City Council at its meeting at 6:30 p.m., on June 17, 2024, in the Historic Federal Building Council Chambers (and/or by virtual means), 350 West 6th Street, Dubuque, Iowa. The project consists of the replacement of the submersible pumps within an existing Granger Creek Pump Station wet well, located at 8896 Mar Jo Quarry Rd, removal and replacement of an existing valve vault, replacement of related force main piping, valves, supports and appurtenances, removal and replacement of existing electrical and controls housed within the Catfish Creek Pump Station building. The project also includes modifications to the HVAC system and roofing replacement for the existing Catfish Creek Pump Station building. Estimated Construction Cost = $1,250,000.00 Each Bidder must accompany its Bid with a Bid Bond as security that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract for the work Bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety Bond, acceptable to the governmental entity, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The Bid security must be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the contract and must be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered credit union, or the Bidder may provide a Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the governmental entity. The Bid Bond must contain no conditions except as provided in this section. Work on the Project must be commenced within ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued and shall be substantially completed by October 31, 2025 and finally completed by December 19, 2025.
