Question Deadline 05/29/2024 Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) The Project consists of but not limited to Springfield Science and Tech HS Medical Assistant Classroom Renovation Project. This project includes renovation of existing two classrooms into medical assistant classroom. It also includes new VCT floor in classroom 125 and new door to Dark Room 125E. Springfield High School of Science Technology Medical Assistant Classroom Renovation. The City through its Department of Parks, Buildings Recreation Management Facilities Division is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement to renovate existing classrooms into medical assistant classrooms. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes. Chapter 149 requires that the Prime/General Contractor be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management in the category, "General Contractor." Estimated cost of the project is One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($180,000.00). Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by close of business on 5/29/24 for general bidders in order to be considered. The City of Springfield goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage rates may apply.
