Renovation of a municipal facility in Northampton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project will not going out to bid and will be rebidding in the fall. Project Seeking sealed bids in accordance with this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for various accessibility upgrades across four city-owned buildings. The scope of work includes the installation of ten automatic door operators compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), along with the installation of two ADA-compliant door levers. Additionally, modifications to ensure ADA compliance will be made to a door lip. These upgrades are essential to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The buildings slated for these improvements are City Hall, Memorial Hall, Municipal Building, and the Northampton Senior Center. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The City reserves the right to reject any adn all bids.
