Renovation of a residential development in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Project consists of: Cleaning and Painting which is described in the attached procurement package. Pictures of interior conditions are included at the end of this document. Questions or requests for an appointment to see the work site should be directed to Nancy Friend 508-228-0296 or nfriend@dennishousing.org Contractors are encouraged to use the enclosed form for proposal. Proposals are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. The Contractor shall perform all Work required by the Contract Documents for Interior Painting prepared by Nantucket Housing Authority acting as and referred to in the Contract Documents as the "Architect". TIME OF COMPLETION: The Contractor shall commence work under this Contract on the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" and shall bring the Work to Substantial Completion within 45 calendar days of said date. Damages for delays in the performance of the Work shall be in accordance with Article 9 of the General Conditions of the Contract. Owner Rights : The Authority reserves the right to call upon the next lowest priced bidder in the event that the Contractor cannot complete the work in a timely manner.
