PERFORMANCE TIME: 85 calendar days, federal holidays and weather days not included. Structure Site No.126 is a single-purpose floodwater retarding structure (FRS) designed in 1964 and built in 1965. The structure is an integral part of the Cedar Creek Watershed a sub-watershed of the Trinity River Watershed. Site No. 126 is located on Coppers Branch a tributary of the Dry Lacy Fork a tributary of the Lacy Fork a tributary of Cedar Creek. This site is located approximately 14 miles southwest of Canton, Van Zandt County, Texas. Work items include slip-lining the principal spillway, installing a new trash rack on the principal spillway inlet, constructing a rock riprap lined plunge basin, reshaping the upstream embankment slope and top of dam, and replacing fencing. The major items of work include: approximately 146-feet of 16" O.D. HDPE pipe; an unspecified quantity of grouting to fill the annular space between the casing and carrier pipe, approximately 5 acres of vegetation establishment; 610 square yards of geotextile; 573 tons of rock riprap;, a new galvanized trash guard; approximately 3,900 cubic yards of site preparation; and 630 linear feet of new fencing. Soil disturbing activities will include (in no order): construction of the access road and construction campsite; earthwork; geotextile and rock-riprap installation; principal spillway repair; erection of existing and new fencing; and disposal of waste materials. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
