**As of June 06, 2024, the award amount is $55,625.85. The VAN BUREN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT is soliciting competitive bids for the removal of existing flooring and completion of polished concrete floors located at Van Buren Tech, 250 South Street, Lawrence, MI 49064. Bidding companies are responsible for all measurements and other details of this proposal. Response to this request for proposal is indication that the vendor has checked all aspects of this request. The awarded bidder must comply with the applicable Federal, State, and local safety requirements. Within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the Notice of Award and before issuance of Contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as required by MCL 129.201, et seq. in such form as the District may require, securing the faithful performance of such contracts and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Such bonds must be for the full amount of the contract with a surety company in good standing and licensed in the State of Michigan. The bond must be at no cost to the District. All bids must include a Bid Security for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, including alternates, payable to the Van Buren Intermediate School District (VBISD), in either the form of a certified bank check or bid bond. If awarded the Contract, the awarded bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. All proposals shall be made in accordance with Bidding Documents. Work must be completed on or before August 16, 2024. This project does not require a prevailing wage.
