The Town of West Hartford and the West Hartford Board of Education are accepting bids for a contractor to furnish firm fixed pricing for Security/Fire Alarm Testing Services. This bid shall be for complete testing, service, and maintenance of Fire Alarm System as installed at various locations in the Board of Education/Town of West Hartford. Conforming to NFPA 72. Please email all questions to the Buyer (Tammy Bradley) tammyb.@westhartfordct.gov no later than 4:00 pm on May 16, 2023. Questions received after that time will not be answered as it will not allow enough time to generate addenda if necessary. The term of the contract pursuant to this solicitation shall be for period 7/1/24 - 6/30/27 with up to two additional one year extensions maintaining all terms and conditions for a possible five year total (7/1/24-6/30/29). Upon satisfactory performance during the initial contract period, the contract may exercise up to two one year extensions. In such cases, all prices, rates, terms and conditions of the original contract shall prevail. Continuance of the contract in subsequent fiscal years shall be contingent upon the annual appropriation of funds for such services.
