Reference Number 0000351973 The Madera County Government Center Roofing project consists of removal of the existing single ply roof and instalation of a new KEE-Stone Hybrid system Areas of moisture were found and will need to removed and replaced as part of the project with in kind materials. For bidding purposes include 2,000 square feet of removal and replacement of the existing roof insulation board. Areas will be investigated and marked out prior to the project start PROJECT LOCATION: 200 W. Fourth Street, Madera, CA 93637 Question Deadline 05/29/2024 at 5:00 PM PT All contractual and technical questions should be directed to the Facilities Superintendent, Janelle Clark at janelle.clark@maderacounty.com. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the County with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. CONSTRUCTION TIME: The successful CONTRACTOR (after receiving the Notice to Proceed) shall have Ninety (90) calendar days to complete all work called for under the Contract Documents. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The liquidated damages will be $1,000 per day for the project delays that are determined to be attributable to the CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTORS LICENSE: The Contractor shall possess a valid California Class C-39 license or necessary permit(s) at the time this Project is bid. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the appropriate classification(s) of contractor's license(s), for the work bid upon, and must maintain the license throughout the duration of the Contract.
