Request for Qualifications may be submitted in person or by courier service. Though Request for Qualifications may be sent by courier services, the County takes no responsibility for the loss, non-delivery or physical condition of the Qualification Statements so sent. Please state on the envelope that the contents contain a Request for Qualifications. Respondents are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A.19:44A-20.4 et seq.
The County reserves the right, in its sole judgment, to reject any Respondent that submits incomplete responses to this Request for Qualifications, or a Qualification Statement that is not responsive to the requirements of this Request for Qualifications. The Qualification Statements should consist of one (1) original, three (3) bound copies and one (1) electronically stored copy on a CD or USB Flash Drive. y. All prospective
bidders are encouraged but not required to visit the project site. Project Supervision and Administration ofHistoric Preservation Projects:
Provide supervision, administration, mockups, protection, and treatment procedures in
accordance with the construction documents. Selective Demolition:
Removal ofexisting damaged stone, historically incongruous railings, and contemporary
lighting
Repointing, resetting, replacement, and cleaning ofhistoric masonry retaining walls,
columns, pavers. Removal ofcoatings and replacement ofterracotta breeze blocks.
6. LightFixture Installation in a Historic Building:
Installation ofnew building mounted lighting on the historic sun houses.
4. RoofRepair in a Historic Site:
Repair ofthe existing terracotta and slate roof per the contract documents.
5. Wood Repair and Replacement in a Historic Building:
Restoration ofthe sun houses include new railings, wood trim, soffits, and structural
repair ofexisting roofframing members.
