Description

Renovation of a library in Jersey City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

The work consists of replacement of metal railings at the interior staircase and mezzanine floor perimeter with aluminum tube guards and handrails and other related work Bidders should make an appointment with Rudolph Pleasant, Capital Improvements Manager of the Library System at (201) 547-5039 for access to the library building. Any and all questions that arise during the bidding period must be submitted in writing and forwarded via email directly to the architect, Helena Ruman, athelena.ruman@rumanarchitects.com No questions will be accepted by telephone. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than July 1, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. All bids shall be irrevocable not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for period of sixty (60) days. Bid Proposal MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check, made payable to the Jersey City Free Public Library in the amount equal to ten (10%) Percent of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00
